Description
Purchased a set of 6 and replaced the same HOKI fire alarms that were installed 18 years ago with new ones. Since the mounting plate from 18 years ago could be used as is for the new ones, it became unnecessary.
If you need many, please comment and I will sell them as a set.
HOKI's residential fire alarms (like Hi no Moto Kanshiban) are installed by fixing the mounting plate to the ceiling or wall with the included screws or plaster nails, and then attaching the main unit by twisting it.
There is compatibility with older products, and in many cases, replacement is possible using the existing mounting plate.
Mounting Plate Points and Removal Procedure: While pressing the mounting plate with your palm, turn it counter-clockwise about 1 cm (about 15 degrees) to remove it.
Installation Procedure: Fix the mounting plate to the ceiling or wall with the two included screws. Align the alarm unit from above and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Compatibility: A common mounting plate is used for most residential fire alarms. Precautions: If the mounting plate has deteriorated with age, cracks, or damage, please replace it.
