Description
This bag was actually used by my father during training exercises when he served in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force from the Showa 50s (1975-1984) through the Heisei era (1989-2019). After I inherited it, I used it for motorcycle touring.
It's made of very durable fabric and has a simple construction, so I think it can be used for anything outdoors.
As you can see, there are scuffs and scratches, but it's sturdy and was perfectly fine for use. I liked the well-used look. The zipper came undone, so I sewed it myself to keep using it.
You can't expect much in terms of waterproofing, but it held up to a certain extent with waterproofing spray. When I went touring, I put my belongings in plastic bags inside.
Recommended for those who like military-style items.
