This is a Komon (small pattern) kimono. Although the base is black, it features a cute floral pattern, making it a kimono that isn't overly sophisticated. The black itself is not a stark black, but rather a slightly muted shade. It appears to be a Showa retro (vintage Japanese) kimono, but it is in beautiful condition with the basting threads still attached. The material is unknown. The lining (hakkake) is polyester.
