A set of two ceramic brush rests.
They are designed to look like a piece of Japanese tableware or a vase.
No box or other accessories are included.
The larger one is unused, but there is a chipped area as shown in the last image.
It is unclear if this is part of the design or damage, but it is believed to be original.
There are also tape marks.
The smaller one has been used once but has been washed.
Would be great for those who enjoy hobbies such as calligraphy or絵手紙 (ete-gami - picture letters) that use brushes.
Brushes are not included.
