Hige Tsumugi Haori - Navy - Compatible Height 164.5-169.5cm - Men's - Kendo/Iaido - 398H

This is a pre-owned men's haori (a traditional Japanese jacket) hand-sewn from Hige Tsumugi fabric.

The fabric features approximately 1cm to 1.5cm threads that protrude, creating an interesting texture that makes you want to touch it, giving it a unique feel. (See the 10th photo for reference.)

Among men's haori, which tend to have subtle material variations, this unique texture with thread protrusions resembling a beard is popular.

- We received requests from martial arts instructors (kendo, iaido, etc.) for items they could wear over their dogi (uniform) and hakama. We proposed options using Oshima Tsumugi, Yuki Tsumugi, and Hige Tsumugi fabrics.

- We have also received requests to sell haori and nagagi (kimono) separately, and for guidance on how to choose the correct size.

[Condition] No particularly noticeable stains or dirt, and no major damage. It is in good condition.

As this is a pre-owned item, there may be some minor scuffs, fading, slight soiling, or storage odors. We have included photos of any areas of concern. We welcome bids from those who understand pre-owned kimonos.

Please note that we lack the expertise to determine if the kimono can be let out (mitake, sodetake, etc.).
